Josh is a Johannesburg-based Director of Photography working across commercial, narrative, and documentary projects. He splits his time roughly evenly between Cape Town and Johannesburg, with the flexibility to travel for the right production.

Josh's path into film started in music — a diploma in Music Production from The Academy of Sound Engineering, with a focus on audio post for film. Once filmmaking caught his attention, the camera won. That background still shows up in how he shoots: an instinct for rhythm and emotional pacing as much as for light.
